Phoenix Skin Medical Surgical Group specializes in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery, medical and surgical hair restoration, as well as all areas of medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology.
Skin rejuvenation, resurfacing and restructuring can be achieved in a number of ways via the newest techniques and procedures offered by Phoenix Skin. Time and environmental influences, particularly exposure to the sun, results in unwelcome changes. Collagen and elastin protein production decreases and the skin around the eyes, neck and lower portions of the face loose elasticity, causing fine lines, wrinkles and sagging.
A mini facelift, neck lift and upper or lower eyelid lift drastically reverses these signs of aging with minimal down time. Less invasive methods such as Botox and fillers are also effective ways to enhance facial features, while laser light treatments help rejuvenate and resurface the skin. For those looking to restore the natural structure of the face that has either diminished over time or resulted from disfigurement, reconstructive surgery is a viable option.
The onset of hair loss occurs at a variety of different ages and reasons for both men and women. Whether its hair loss, thinning or baldness: medical hair restoration is a dynamic procedure that helps keep the existing hair while restoring what is already lost. Hair transplantation is a method of transferring hair from an area of the scalp where the hair is genetically programmed to grow for your lifetime (typically the back and sides) to the areas of hair loss on the top and front. Once relocated, transplanted hair retains the same color, texture and growth rate as the area from which it was taken, making hair transplantation the only permanent form of treatment for hair loss available.
